What would a festival preview be if we didn’t list one of the Tennessee variety? No, we don’t mean Bonnaroo. Or the Beale Street Music Festival (which is already past).
We’re talking about the Pilgrimage Festival in Franklin, Tenn.—a mash-up of rock meets country meets soul. Franklin is a short 30-minute drive south of Nashville, and the festival is riding high in its fifth year.
The two-day happening features four stages and has plenty of acts to fill them, as 42 bands are lined up for the weekend. Some of this year’s artists include The Foo Fighters, Keith Urban, The Killers, Leon Bridges, The Head and the Heart, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Jenny Lewis, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Shooter Jennings and Lucie Silvas.
The $210 you’ll pay for a two-day pass is worth it as the tickets to see the Foo Fighters at the Enterprise Center last year maxed out at $96.
