Revived and Rescheduled

The Revivalists Are Headed to the Pageant

On March 23rd, the Revivalists will take the stage at the Pageant in what’s sure to be an unforgettable live experience. After 10-plus years of dedication and self-discovery, the band has an impassioned, personal and refined album with their latest release Take Good Care.

We were devastated when they had to postpone the previously scheduled Dec. 8th appearance (due to an illness) at the Pageant, but opener Mt. Joy stayed for the evening, performing a gratis show with local natives Tidal Volume. Displaying southern flair and bluesy rock vibes, the Revivalists, helmed by David Shaw, are no strangers to the limelight—they’ve made their rounds on the late-night talk show circuit (Conan, Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel) as well as The Ellen DeGeneres Show and the Today Show; plus, they’ve performed at Bonnaroo, Jazz Fest and countless other festivals.

The New Orleans-based octet went platinum with the catchy single “Wish I Knew You” from 2015’s Men Amongst Mountains and the standout track “All My Friends” lyric video from the artfully crafted Take Good Care has garnered more than 1.5 million views alone. The band closed out 2018 with 56 million streams of their discography on Spotify.
