The Record Company
Sept. 20 • The Pageant
Although they’ve been together less than a de- cade, the Record Company catapulted into stardom with their rst album, Give It Back to You, in 2016, with gems such as “Rita Mae Young,” “Off the Ground,” and “On the Move.”
The gritty, blues-kissed power rock trio has toured relentlessly the past few years, pausing only for short breaks and recording sessions. Start- ing in small venues like the Firebird, the band quickly graduated to concert halls and festivals, gaining support from radio airplay and news outlets, and were asked to open for the likes of B.B. King, Trombone Shorty and John Mayer.
Now on tour for their sophomore effort, All of this Life, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top New Artists and Alternative New Artists charts, the trio (Chris Vos, guitar, lead vocals; Alex Stiff, bass, backing vocals; Marc Cazorla, drums, backing vo- cals) brings all the energy of the rst album, which features soon-to-be hits such as “Life to Fix.” They are not to be missed at the Pageant in September. --JR
